Steps to make Arbi tikki chaat:
  1. Cut tomatoes in halves.Heat oil in a pan,add cumin seeds,tomatoes, salt and pepper and saute it for a minute.
  2. Add 2 cups of water,mix well,cover with lid and let it cook until tomatoes becomes soft.
  3. Once it's done then remove tomatoes skin and let it cool.Then grind tomatoes, 1 tbsp of cream,1 tsp sugar,salt and 1tsp kashmiri mirchi altogether.
  4. Grind to make a fine soup.
  5. Wash and boil Arbi for 10 minutes,let it cool,peel its skin.
  6. Smash the arbi m add all the spices to it.Mix properly,as it is starchy,it may stick to your hands,
  7. Make small patti from the prepared mixture. Shallow fry all the tikkies.
  8. Make crispy and golden coloured tikki.
  9. Now in a serving plate,add tomato soup first,then put arbi tikki and then garnish it with chopped coriander and chopped onion Arbi chaat is ready to serve.
