  1. Make ready 1/2 kg cabbage chopped

  12. Get 1/4 tsp turmeric powder

  15. Make ready 1/2 tsp garam masala

  17. Take 2 cups fresh curd
  18. Take 1 onion finely chooped
  19. Make ready 1 tomato finely chopped
  20. Make ready 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  21. Prepare 1/2+1/2 tsp roasted cumin seeds powder
  22. Make ready 1/4 +1/4tsp Red chilli powder
  23. Get 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
  24. Prepare 1/4 tsp black salt
Instructions to make Cabbage dry curry and raita:
  1. In a pan heat oil add cumin seeds, asafoetida when crackles,add grated ginger and green chillies and sauté few seconds.
  2. Add cabbage, green peas, potato dices, and carrot and mix well. Sprinkle salt and 1/4 tsp turmeric powder and mix well. Cook on a medium flame for 1 minute. Now cover with a lid and cook for 15 minutes.
  3. It will be soft after 15 mins. Now add red chilli powder, coriander powder and mix well and sauté for 2 minutes. When the spices are well roasted then add dry mango powder and garam masala and mix. Switch off the flame.
  4. For Raita: Take curd in a mixing bowl. Mix until they smooth with spoon or whisk.
  5. Next, add chopped onions and chopped tomatoes and mix well. Now add salt, black salt,1/4 tsp red chilli powder, black pepper powder and 1/2 tsp roasted cumin seeds powder and mix well.
  6. Transfer the raita into a serving bowl. Sprinkle cumin powder and red chilli powder on top.
  7. Serve cabbage dry curry with raita and chapati.
