- Prepare 1/2 cup green chillies deseeded
- Prepare 1/2 cup coconut powder
- Get 1/2 cup white sesame seeds
- Prepare 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- Get 2 tsp lime juice
- Get 1/2 cup oil

Steps to make Hyderabadi style Soya Nuggets ki Biryani and Safed Mirchi ki Salan:
- For Biryani - soak Soya Nuggets in warm water for 30 mins.
- In a pan heat oil and fry the sliced onions golden brown. Set aside half and add ginger-garlic paste, half of chopped green chilies. turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder. Stir.
- Add beaten yoghurt, salt. Add soya nuggets and stir well.
- Add half mint and coriander leaves, half of lime juice. Add 1/2 cup water to cook the soya nuggets. Set aside
- In a heavy rimmed bottom pan boil water and add rice, salt and whole garam masala. Cook rice 3/4th done. Strain and discard the whole garam masala.
- In another pan heat ghee, add half of rice, add the soya nuggets curry, spread well, add rest of lime juice, rest of coriander leaves, rest of mint leaves, rest of chopped green chilies, rest of fried onion and saffron dipped in milk. Close the lid and on low flame cook for 7-10 mins
- For Safed Mirchi ki Salan - deseed the green chilies. Fry and set aside
- Roast the white sesame seeds, add coconut powder and stir for 1 mins. Set aside. Make a paste and set aside
- In a pan heat oil and add cumin seeds, when it crackles add the sesame seed paste and stir well, add water slowly and keep stirring. The oil should come on the surface
- Add the fried green chilies and stir well on low flame. Add salt and lime juice. Set aside
- Plate both together and enjoy
