- Crush pepper and onion in a blender and set aside, wash melon seed with water and blend with some onion till you have a smooth paste. Wash and boil assorted meat and fish if using stockfish. Season meat to taste.
- In a clean pot, pour in the red oil and some chopped onion, then the blended pepper leave to stem for about 3 minutes then pour in the boiled meat and fish, add the 2 cubes of stock powder taste for salt and cover the pot for it all to cook together for another 5 minutes. Add the blended melon seed and stir continuously to avoid burning at the bottom. If too thick you can add a bit of water and keep stiring for about 5-8minutes.
- Add vegetable of your choice. I used chopped spinach in mine. The vegetable only needs to cook for about a minute and viola, soup is ready.
