- I made sure the liver was frozen as a rock and then I grated it really fine. Once you have done that and got all the other dicing and chopping done, start on this curry
- In some heated oil, add the cumin seeds, cinnamon stick, onion and the ginger and garlic pastes
- Saute on medium low until the onions have softened
- Next add the masala powders and tomatoes. If you are using cinnamon powder, add it here, mix well to combine and allow the spice powder to cook through and the tomatoes to get a little mushy
- Grated lamb liver and potatoes go in next. Mix well, add a 1/4 cup of water, season with salt and allow the curry to cook on low heat
- The liver will cook fast, so its really the potatoes you want to cook through. Right when its done, I added the freshly chopped coriander leaves to give an extra lift to the already good smelling curry
- I served this with white rice. The other alternates are couscous, mashed potatoes or even pasta. If your kid does not like munching on pieces of potatoes and onions, allow the curry to cool a bit and then puree it into a sauce :)
