  1. First wash and rinse well carrot beetroot and tomatoes.
  2. Roughly chop tomatoes and onion. Grate beetroot and carrot or can finely chop it. As it becomes easy to grind in mixer so have grated. Chop ginger and peel the skin of garlic.
  3. Take a pan or kadhai. Place it on gas fire.Add oil and heat well, Once heated add cinnamon stick, then add ginger and garlic. Saute of a minute.
  4. Then add tomatoes, onion. Stir and saute for 2 to 3 minutes on medium to high heat.
  5. Then add beetroot and carrot. Mix it all nicely. Keep the gas flame low. Cover it let it cook on low heat for 8 to 10 minutes. In between stir and check
  6. Then add 1 cup of water and let it cook for 4 to 5 minutes on medium to high flame. By the time tomato carrot and beetroot will be cooked nicely and will turn soft and tender.
  7. Switch off the gas fire.Let the mixture cool down completely.
  8. Once cool down transfer the mixture in a mixer jar and grind it to a fine and smooth consistency.
  9. Now transfer the grinded mixture in a pot.Again place it on a gas fire.Add required amount of water around 2 to 3 cups of water.According to your liking adjust consistency of soup.So add water accordingly.
  10. Let the soup come to boil.Add salt and sugar according to taste.
  11. Once done switch off the heat. Serve hot.
  12. Sprinkle black pepper powder, ghar ki malai or cream as required. Also sprinkled dry basil leaves which is easily available. This is optional.
