- Get 1/2 tbsp tomato paste

- Take a mixture jar and add coconut whole red chilli cumin seeds clove black pepper cinnamon sticks star anise fennel seeds and a little bit of water and make a smooth paste
- Chop the boiled potatoes into small cubes
- Take a pan and heat the oil once heated add onion and sauté till golden brown
- Now add chilli ginger garlic paste and sauté for few mins
- Add all the dry masala and mix well then add the tomato paste
- Now add the grind mixture and mix well add a little bit of water
- Add salt to taste and the boiled potatoes and let it cook for a while. Depending on your consistency of gravy add water as per your choice. Let it cook for a few mins
- Your chettinad aloo curry is ready serve with naan roti or paratha as per your choice enjoy.
