Instructions to make Simple Rasam Recipe:
  1. In a pan add water, chopped tomato, chopped onion, few coriander stems, few curry leaves, haldi powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, tamarind pulp and salt.
  2. Cover and boiled for 30 minutes.
  3. For tempering : Heat oil in kadai. Once the oil is hot………..add 1 dry red chilli, 1/2 tsp mustard seeds and few curry leaves. Let it crackle for few minutes.
  4. Pour the tempering on the rasam. Then add crushed masala few cumin seeds, black pepper corn and few garlic cloves. Don't boil it. At last add 1/2 tsp sugar. If you add sugar the taste will be awosome. Once it is done.
  5. Transfer to a bowl. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Ready to serve…………..hot………..rasam with hot……………..steam rice……………..
