- Firstly add washed &cleaned chana dal in to a pressure cooker add cup of water, turmeric powder, a tsp of oil, close the lid and get 3 whistles, let cooker to cool down,chop cabbage and keep aside, grind fresh coconut, cumin seeds, salt, green chillies together adding little water, to a smooth paste
- Take a deep sauce pan add chopped cabbage, boiled chana dal,and ground masala,add a cup of water and salt to your taste, cook until cabbage is done, adjust water consistency of the curry,it should be thick.
- In a tadka pan add oil heat up, add mustard seeds, red chillies, and curry leaves let it splutter add this tempering to the curry.now your delicious curry is done.serve with roti/rice
