  2. Make ready 1 big onion

  8. Make ready 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

  13. Take 1 cup thick coconut milk
  14. Take 1 cup water
  15. Prepare Few shallots

Instructions to make Kizhi paratha:
  1. Take a vessel and add oil and add curry leaves and onions and saute till light golden.
  2. Add chopped tomatoes and saute well. Add the marinated chicken with ginger garlic, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and salt. Add this to the pot. Add little water.
  3. Close the lid and let it cook. In a mixie jar extract coconut milk add fennel powder and turmeric and grind add this to the curry. Let it boil.
  4. Take a pot add coconut oil and saute curry leaves and shallots chopped saute.. when golden add it to the curry.
  5. Take a banana leaf, place 1 paratha over it and pour curry as a second layer. Place second paratha on top and fold and cover the banana leaf.
  6. Take a pan add oil and fry the banana leaf with paratha on the both sides till nice aroma comes. When the colour changes of the leaf it's done. Open and serve.
  7. Enjoy kizhi paratha.
